Capitalism is the Monetary Policy of Christianity
In Christian mythology, people are told to treat their fellow person as they would like to be treated and if they do this they will go to heaven. If they don't, they will go to hell. So compare how this fits with capitalism. Capitalism says that in order to eat, you must bring something to the table. How well you eat is dependent on how well you sell something, good or bad. However, on balance, the most successful sell the best widget. Unfortunately, many bad widget sellers succeed do to the ever present gullibility of some humans. However, in the ideal, capitalism is a system that favors those who present the best widget. At its worst, it favors a talented salesperson. So how does this tie with the Christian principal of doing good leads to heaven and vice versa? If you provide a better widget, all of your customers lives are enhanced. Their giving you their money enables you to purchase a million dollar estate in Burbank, which is, for all intents and purposes 'heaven...
